Staff was LOYAL, solved all problems we had. Private bathroom with all essentials.
-
Everything was excellent as always. It was a relaxing experience & staff were friendly.

Totally quiet and peaceful place to unwind...

I felt it was not value for money. I paid £244 for 2 nights in a room in the roof where the bath was under the roof and the shower could only be used knelt down and hand held. The breakfast was good but the remainder of the food was very poor. A sandwich for lunch is not my idea of value for money and the choice of evening meal was very poor. I came to Cedar Falls alone as all previous visits have been excellent. I imagined the evening spent in the lounge where lectures used to be help and which were always fun, entertaining and enlightening. The relaxation session used to be run by a professional who knew how to relax the class, certainly not someone switching on a CD. I felt it was very poor and have enlightened all the customers in my pub.

It was like a moment out of time. As soon as you stepped inside you left all your worries behind and just relaxed and thought only about yourself. Bliss
The facilities were very good, the decor in the reception rooms and passage ways was a bit tired looking and dated
-
the treatments were very good and the pool and spar were great.a good place to relax and unwind

I liked the opportunity to be quiet and not have to talk to anyone. The atmosphere was restful. The treatments were very good. I would certainly recommend Cedar Falls.

meal, location
Steam Room was out of order, the sauna was not working and the Jacuzzi was very dirty we were very disappointed, how can you advertise these attraction if they are not working?
-
A lovely relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and a good range of spa facilities.
Our room was very pretty and clean but very, very cold. Although we had a heater it was unable to cope with the draught coming through the window.
-
the treatments were very good staff very friendly location lovely food really good
bit old fasion

The pool/jacuzzi/steam room area was lovely and the sunny conservatory with sunloungers, which was a recent addition, was fabulous.
Spa treatments were very expensive, and not the best I have had.
-
I am not a spa aficionado but I enjoyed my stay. In addition to the pool, sauna etc, there were exercise classes and relaxation sessions included in the price. The restaurant charged £25 for a 3-course meal and, although the choice was limited, the food was good, as was the wine.
The house and grounds have been lovingly restored; however, the bedrooms a are a little 'chintzy' in style, and the wallpaper and badly-framed prints in the upstairs corridors make it feel more like a guest house than a good hotel. In addition, the storage heater (yes, storage heater) in my room was stone cold for the duration of my stay. The receptionist did kindly provide me with a convector heater, but it should not have been necessary to ask for this in late October when the weather was chilly.
